ALW are always keen to support the work of charities in the UK and Ireland.

Careys Foundation was established to change and positively impact the lives of individuals and groups in need across the UK and Ireland, having raised over £1.2 million over the last five years for a variety of charitable causes. ALW are delighted to have supported and contributed towards the £4,819 raised by the charity in their Three Peaks Challenge 2018 in aid of MIND, the mental health charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

Tommy’s is a charity that believes in challenging the stigma around pregnancy loss. They believe that every parent should have the correct information when going through such a traumatic experience. Tommy’s undergo extensive research to find out how miscarriage’s can be prevented in the future.

Endometriosis UK mission is to help people overcome the impact endometriosis can have on individual lives, for everyone to have the right to fast, appropriate care, support and treatment.

ALW are happy to have donated and supported these two charities at a recent charity ball that raised a total of £1,345.

The charity aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression and mental health problems in young adults. ALW were keen to donate to this amazing charity by way of sponsoring James Turner, Director for Capeford Ltd, in the Charity Truck Pull earlier this year.

 

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only charity in the UK fighting for a Life Unlimited by cystic fibrosis for the people who live with it. ALW were eager to support this fantastic charity by sponsoring David McCarthy, Director for Landmark Groundworks Ltd, in the annual Coast to Coast Cycle event.
